Please explain, thank you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Answer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you Mr. Nur Wahid for the question submitted. Chicken&nbsp;<em>broiler<\/em>&nbsp;it currently has rapid growth potential, larger breast meat, and&nbsp;<em>Feed Convertion Ratio&nbsp;<\/em>(FCR) is lower. But it also has more complex challenges such as fewer feathers, sensitive to the environment, easy stress, sensitive to disease, and relatively fixed organ size despite the larger breast meat. Therefore, it is important to know the growth pattern of chickens&nbsp;<em>broiler<\/em>&nbsp;so that it can maximize its potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Critical points of keeping chickens&nbsp;<em>broiler&nbsp;<\/em>are in the first two weeks when the period&nbsp;<em>brooding period,<\/em>. Chicken performance&nbsp;<em>broiler<\/em>&nbsp;in the first week of time&nbsp;<em>brooding period,<\/em>, increased body weight 4-5 times compared to body weight when DOC, then in the second week will experience 2-3 times the increase in body weight from the first week. The unique thing is, in the third week the increase is only 1-2 times the weight of the second week. Immune organs that develop in childhood&nbsp;<em>brooding period,<\/em>&nbsp;namely&nbsp;<em>bursa Fabrisius<\/em>&nbsp;and thymus. Both organs play a very important role in the early formation of the chicken&#039;s immune system. Then the digestive organs were also experiencing a very rapid development in the future&nbsp;<em>brooding period.&nbsp;<\/em>When at the moment&nbsp;<em>chick in<\/em>&nbsp;directly provided feed and drink, then the digestive organs will grow larger and longer, villi-villi intestine will grow large and uniform so that the absorption of nutrients will be maximized, significantly different when at the time&nbsp;<em>chick in<\/em>&nbsp;no food or drink is provided. This is due to the pattern of growth in the first two weeks (period&nbsp;<em>brooding period,<\/em>) dominated by body cells that have hyperplasia (cell multiplication), while in the third and fourth week the body cells will experience hypertrophy (cell enlargement). So that more and more cells that can be propagated during&nbsp;<em>brooding period,<\/em>the more cells that can be enlarged in the next period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, at the time&nbsp;<em>brooding period,<\/em>, temperature regulation in chickens is still poikilothermic, meaning that the animal&#039;s body temperature follows changes in ambient temperature because the chicken&#039;s body temperature regulation is not yet fully functional. This leads to temperature regulation at the time&nbsp;<em>brooding period,<\/em>&nbsp;very important because it will affect the magnitude&nbsp;<em>feed intake<\/em>&nbsp;on the chicken. Magnitude&nbsp;<em>feed intake<\/em>&nbsp;on time&nbsp;<em>brooding period,<\/em>&nbsp;will affect the development of the organs of the chicken body. When&nbsp;<em>feed intake<\/em>&nbsp;on time&nbsp;<em>brooding period,<\/em>&nbsp;optimal, then the development of chicken organs will be maximized so that in the next period stay focused on achieving the target daily weight of chicken. Please note that excess or lack of weight in the future&nbsp;<em>brooding period,<\/em>&nbsp;will be correlated to the achievement of weight at harvest time. When compared from these four things, Maintenance Management holds the key to success in raising chickens&nbsp;<em>broiler<\/em>. Things to consider in chicken rearing management&nbsp;<em>broiler<\/em>&nbsp;is management&nbsp;<em>brooding period,<\/em>, nutrient adequacy management (water and ration), ventilation adequacy management, and health management. Vaccinations and&nbsp;<em>biosecurity<\/em>&nbsp;cooking should be done properly, because the main condition is achieving the performance of the chicken&nbsp;<em>broiler<\/em>&nbsp;the optimal thing is that the chicken must first be healthy.
