Mr. Green, thank you for the question. Here's an explanation for your question :

Talking about the efficiency of the ration in the maintenance of chickens broiler it is appropriate, because the cost of rations reaches 70-85% of the total cost of maintenance. If you can't manage well, the profits obtained will be small or even experience losses. But replacing the ration with a mixture of Bran and corn alone is not appropriate. If only these ingredients, then it can not meet the nutritional needs needed for the growth of chickens include metabolic energy, protein, fiber, fat, minerals, vitamins and amino acids and other micro-nutrients.

The right formulation for chickens broiler is a formulation that produces nutritional content according to the needs of chickens with a balanced composition. Here is an example of a ration formula for broiler phase starter.

The cost of rations can also be emphasized by the proper administration of rations, such as rations are carried out as often as possible, especially when time brooding period, so that the ration remains fresh and the chicken appetite is good (optimal growth). Storage of rations is done well, avoid damp and clumping rations that can reduce the quality of the ration. Setting the time of ration can also improve the efficiency of the ration, for example during hot weather conditions (especially during the day) ration should not be given first, but given after the weather starts to cool (afternoon).

Things to consider before giving rations :

The number of rations and drinking places is sufficient and spread evenly throughout the cage

The height of the ration place is parallel to the height of the chicken's back

Cleanliness of the ration and drinking chicken awake

The drinking water provided is clean and always available (because if the consumption of drinking water is low, the consumption of rations is also low)

Enclosure temperature 25-28°C with humidity 60%.
