Hobbyists complain of fungal diseases of the skin as one of the diseases that often attack fighting chickens. When exposed to this fungal disease, chickens are difficult to cure and even transmitted to other chickens. This disease will interfere with the health of chickens resulting in decreased sparring performance. Not only that, the appearance of the chicken also looks bad.
Fungal infections of the skin or often referred to as korep disease caused by fungal infections include Microsporum gallinae, Microsporum gypseum, Trichophyton megnini, Trichophyton simii, Epidermophyton sp. Corep disease or ringworm is a type of skin disease that is contagious. If one chicken is infected, it will easily spread to other chickens. Korep transmission can be through direct skin contact or through contaminated objects.

Physically, chickens infected with this skin fungal disease will see a white and peeling layer of skin. Usually attacks on the face and cock comb. Chickens will feel an incredible itch, so the chicken must feel uncomfortable and can experience stress. If not treated quickly, this fungal infection will spread to all parts of the body and cause severe baldness in fighting chickens. Mentally and behavior of fighting chickens also tend to be disturbed in infected chickens. Chickens seem restless and hard to rest even a decrease in appetite that can cause disruption of nutritional adequacy.
Apart from the physical examination, to confirm the diagnosis of the disease can also be done examination of skin scrapings on the infected area. It is then viewed using a microscope to determine the cause. So that treatment can be done correctly and correctly.
Chickens infected with fungi need to be treated immediately so that they do not get worse and do not become a source of transmission to other chickens. The treatment certainly needs to be done thoroughly so that optimal treatment results:
- Separate sick chickens so as not to infect other healthy chickens.
- Use a special sponge (distinguish with a sponge for healthy chickens) to clean the face, comb, scalp and other infected parts slowly then dry.
- Immediately give treatment with anti-fungal drugs, such as Mycoraid. Mycoraid effectively treat skin diseases in chickens due to fungal infections such as scab, koreb and white spot. Treatment of korep disease must be carried out thoroughly. Treatment is done by applying to the infected part of the fungus, 2-3 times a day until it heals. Treatment is continued after the infection has healed to prevent the fungus from reappearing. Treatment with Mycoraid does not cause side effects and does not affect the performance of fighting chickens.

Treatment of fungal infections with painstaking and using the right drugs will cure fungal infections faster. Such as the following fight chicken treatment which shows that the treatment uses Mycoraid can cure fungal infections completely on the 5th day of treatment compared to similar anti-fungal drugs with a longer treatment time of 8 days. As shown in the following graph 1.

- Providing supplements to maintain the body's immune system remains optimal fight chicken so it is not susceptible to disease. For example, by giving Solvit.
- Keep the cage clean and not damp. Clean and disinfect every day the entire cage to get rid of mold with Antisep or Neo Antisep. Try to keep the cage air circulation good and get enough sunlight.
- After completion of treatment, chickens regularly bathed mainly cleanses the face. You should use a different sponge for each chicken or at least separate healthy chicken equipment from sick chickens so they don't get infected. Clean the sponge after use because it can be a nest of fungi and bacteria. In addition to bathing game chickens need to be dried every day.
- The risk of transmission can also occur when competing or training chickens, so after competing chickens need to be washed or cleaned and immediately treat the wound after competing.
