Cooling pad an important part of the ventilation system in the enclosure Closed House. Cooling pad will help provide cool and comfortable air for the chickens by cooling the chicken coop room. This tool will be directly connected to the water pump.
Water will enter from the top cooling pad and passes through the part subjected to evaporation. This evaporation occurs because there is hot air coming from outside the cage. Furthermore, this evaporation meets the flow of water from rain maker that will wet cell pad and finally make the air that enters the cage moist and cool.
Based on the need for air breeding farm in each phase of maintenance, it can be distinguished by setting- an ventilation system that is :
- Minimum ventilation namely the ventilation system that can be applied when the cage temperature is below the desired target and occurs in time brooding period, approximately until the age of 12-14 days.
- Ventilation transition that is a ventilation system that can be applied when the cage temperature is equal to the desired target temperature, so it is not necessary to apply the maximum ventilation system. This stage of ventilation usually occurs approximately at the age of 14-16 days.
- Maximum ventilation namely the ventilation system that can be applied to keep chickens comfortable in a cool to warm cage conditions by using the effect cooling pad and with high wind speeds more or less after the age of 14 days until the phase layer.
Usage cooling pad should be used after the age of chickens in the third week or after 14 days, but the actual application of the use of cooling pad can already be in-setting automatic taking into account the ambient temperature in the first or second week of life. If the conditions in the area are extreme heat during the day, the use of cooling pad should still pay attention setting duration “on-off” cooling pad what's in the tool climate control (Temptron). Usage cooling pad in the early maintenance should still pay attention to time running, for example setting “on” only in hot weather or during the day. If there is extreme heat, then cooling pad can be used during the period brooding period, but with time running limited (area cell pad which is only partially wetted).
