Medion and UNDIP Inaugurate UNDIP Animal Health Center

As a form of real contribution in the world of education and animal health, the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture (FPP) of Diponegoro University (UNDIP) collaborated with Medion to establish the UNDIP Animal Health Center (UAHC) on November 2, 2025. This animal health service center was inaugurated by Prof. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si as the rector of UNDIP, Prof. Sugiharto, Ph.D as dean of FPP UNDIP, and apt. Adi Susanto Cahyadi, S.Farm, M.M as Business Development Manager Medion. In addition, the event was also attended by the chairman of PDHI Central Java 1, drh. Theresia Anna Ekawati, and other invited guests.

In his speech, Prof. Suharnomo expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all parties who have contributed to the development of UAHC. He particularly highlighted the full support of Medion, which has funded and assisted in the establishment of the service center. According to him, the presence of UAHC is a real form of campus contribution to the community as well as a means of practice for students.

Dean of FPP UNDIP, Prof. Sugiharto, said that the establishment of UAHC is a strategic step to strengthen learning practices in the field of animal health while supporting community services. In addition to animal health services, this facility also provides grooming services, pet hotels, and various pet products from medionpet such as food, cat sand, and medicine.

Business Development Manager Medion, apt. Adi Susanto Cahyadi, S.Farm, M.M, expressed appreciation for the cooperation that has been established with UNDIP. The collaboration covers various areas ranging from closed houses, scholarship grants, guest lectures, research, to graduate absorption. He added, Many undip alumni who have currently contributed to Medion from various divisions”.

Through this cooperation, Medion and UNDIP hope to build an innovative and holistic collaboration so as to provide tangible benefits to the world of Education, Animal Health, and the wider community.
