Japan is a country synonymous with amazing tourist destinations, stunning culture, and modern cities. This is what led Medion to choose Japan as one of the countries for an overseas trip with its customers. From May 14 – 21, 2025, a total of 29 participants, consisting of the Medion team and customers from various regions, explored the beauty of Japan.
Starting in Tokyo, on the first day, participants visited Asakusa Kannon Temple, one of the oldest and most famous Buddhist temples in Tokyo. The participants' activities continued with shopping in Ginza and visiting various modern art galleries. On the second day, participants went to teamLab Planets Tokyo, a tourist attraction with an interactive digital theme. In addition, they also explored Odaiba Park, Shibuya, and Shinjuku. Moving to the city of Hakone, on the fourth day, participants started the day by cruising Lake Ashi, riding the gondola at Hakone Ropeway, and visiting Owakudani (Hell Valley), a famous volcanic area in Japan.
Enjoying the beauty of Mount Fuji was the participants' first destination on the fifth day. In the same area, there is also Oshino Hakkai, a tourist attraction with eight spring water pools created from the melted snow of Mount Fuji's peak. On the sixth and seventh days, all participants visited Shirakawago Village, a cluster of villages selected as a UNESCO cultural heritage site. Shirakawago has beautiful rural and mountain scenery, and also features a small section of the village containing traditional Japanese houses. The activities in Japan concluded with a trip on the Sagano Romantic Train and souvenir shopping in Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori.
