GOLDEN PET DEWORMING FOR DOGS is a caplet formulation containing a combination of febantel, pyrantel embonate, and praziquantel. Febantel works by binding to the parasite’s β-tubulin, inhibiting the polymerization of α- and β-tubulin subunits to form microtubules within the worm’s cells, leading to its death. Pyrantel embonate acts as a neuromuscular depolarizing blocker by promoting the release of acetylcholine, inhibiting cholinesterase, and stimulating ganglionic neurons, resulting in muscle contraction and paralysis. Praziquantel works by damaging the worm’s tegument and causing muscular contraction, which leads to paralysis and eventual death.
